Editorial Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-27
This page explains how wordok.top produces and maintains content across our editorial channels and free browser tools. It is written for readers, partners, and advertising reviewers who need a concrete description of our standards—not marketing fluff.
What wordok.top is
wordok.top is an independent site that publishes practical technology guides and operates free, browser-local image tools (convert, crop, resize, watermark, compress). Editorial channels cover VPN and privacy, AI, Apple, Tesla / EV, Web3, OpenClaw gateway topics, streaming, and web/SEO tutorials.
Tools process files on the reader’s device and are maintained as first-party software. Articles are static pages that should stand on their own: clear claims, named sources where relevant, and enough original explanation to be useful without padding.
Human review before publish
- Draft → edit → publish: New or substantially rewritten articles are checked for factual consistency, broken steps, outdated prices/specs, and placeholder or template residue before they are treated as indexable content.
- Tools QA: Tool changes are tested in current Chromium/Firefox/Safari when feasible; privacy claims (no upload) are verified against the client-side implementation.
- Low-quality suppression: Mass-generated, unfinished, or thin template pages
are marked
noindexand kept out of sitemaps until they are rewritten to meet this policy. Volume alone is not a publishing goal.
Sources and attribution
- Prefer primary sources: vendor docs, official blogs, regulatory notices, and reputable technical reporting. Link them in-body when a claim depends on them.
- Do not invent quotes, statistics, or “expert” names. If a figure cannot be sourced, remove or clearly qualify it.
- Affiliate or sponsored mentions are disclosed on the page or channel disclosure page. Recommendations should still be explained with criteria the reader can verify.
What we do not publish
- Auto-spun or near-duplicate articles that only swap keywords or channel names
- Pages whose body is mostly unreplaced placeholders (e.g.
[technology 1]) - Doorway pages built only to rank for ads with little original help for the reader
- Copied third-party text presented as original reporting
- Misleading “updated” dates without a real content change
When older inventory fails these rules, we noindex it, rewrite it, or remove it—rather than keep it visible for crawl volume.
Corrections
If you find an error, email iwangzhanpeng94@gmail.com with the page URL, the incorrect statement, and a preferred source or fix. Material corrections are applied on the page; significant updates should refresh the visible updated date.
Privacy or data requests follow the Privacy Policy. General contact options are on the Contact page.
Advertising
We may show ads (including Google AdSense) on eligible pages. Ads must not rewrite editorial conclusions. Policy, about, contact, and some tool policy pages suppress ad layout reserves where appropriate. Ad performance never overrides the quality bar above.
